For the longest time, he didn't acknowledge the older lady, the older man and random people hovering over the seat.
Eventually a man asked for him to move the bags so he could sit down. He moved the bags so the man could sit down but then he put the bags on his own seat and stood up.
So confused by what was so heavy in those bags that he needed to put them on chairs only.
People who stand horizontally in front of the subway door and DGAF that they're blocking the entrance

This guy stood here oblivious to everyone trying to squeeze in behind him (and also oblivious to my stares of judgment) the entire trip.
Gym idiots

I optimize things. It's my job. So I don't understand when people don't optimize space.
In Bodycombat today, a newbie guy and some girl kept kicking and shuffling closer and closer to me. Meanwhile there is LITERALLY A HUGE 2 meter gap behind them. Every roundhouse kick being closer and closer to me and me looking at them, but them not getting the hint, I just changed spots and went in that giant 2 meter space they were staying away from to be close to me for whatever reason.
I don't like to make a big deal and change spots midway class but c'mon. It's ridiculous when you are not spatially aware of your surroundings and optimizing what you have available to you.
Seriously. Why don't you realize it's fucking dangerous to not space out in a freakin' class like Combat!!
Yoga mat etiquette part 2
Sunday, March 27, 2016
To continue on this rant from part one, I had an experience in class today that I was like WTF.
Dunno if it's just something newbies (this girl was clearly a newbie, usually you can tell by what they wear to the gym) but here's a life tip: yoga mat placement is not like Tetris. Just because there is enough width/height between one yoga mat and another yoga mat to place exactly one other yoga mat, it doesn't mean you should.
This girl in class today, comes in late and then of all the spots in the room, she puts her mat in exactly the space between me and the lady's mat behind me. Which left her in exactly one inch (literally) behind me. I don't know if she realizes this, but while it fits, legs and arms are moving around in class. Girl, I am gonna stick my foot in your face and it will be your fault.
As I was watching incredulously to her placing her mat there, I sighed and exasperatedly muttered my grievance under my breath and then moved my mat up. Then she proceeded to move her mat up too. Then I WITH EVEN MORE SIGHS AND EXASPERATED MUTTERING moved it up another inch and to the left, to which she proceeded to move her mat also in the same direction.
At that point, another participant in the class watching this also mouthed to me to be like "WTF".
So I then said to newbie gym girl, "can you please move your mat back? thanks". And thanks to this weirdo who needed to get up in my grill, I ended up having to move too close to this guy with god awful feet smell that was making me dry heave.
I don't understand it but for some reason, the newbies who lack self-awareness/gym etiquette/knowledge of their surroundings always LOVE LOVE LOVE to situate themselves right beside me in classes. In Bodycombat, these are the people who present a danger to me and my head because they are the ones who stand inches from me, don't know what they are doing and uncoordinated enough to kick in the wrong direction/into my face.
WHY MUST THESE FOLKS ALWAYS GO BESIDE ME, AND INCHES FROM ME AT THAT???

Tripping hazard
Wednesday, March 23, 2016
I don't understand how this is perfectly acceptable, to put your crutches to take up the entire path during rush hour on line 1 and having everyone carefully walk over these crutches while getting off the subway.
I saw quite a few people almost trip because they weren't looking down and it was crowded.
Oy.
